OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO CREATE INSPIRING AND HARMONIOUS SPACES
THAT ALLOW FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO FUNCTION AT THEIR VERY BEST,
WHILE MAKING LASTING MEMORIES IN THEIR HOME.
Originally founded in 1986 as a residential construction firm on Philadelphia’s Main Line, Design Manifest took its first steps towards becoming a full-service residential design and construction management company in 2004 when Naomi Stein joined her father Andrew’s team.
Through 12 years of working together, Naomi absorbed her father’s wealth of knowledge in high-end remodeling and added her sharp eye for luxurious finishes space planning and color that took the business to the next level. When Andrew retired in 2016, Naomi reincorporated as Design Manifest LLC, and a new chapter was born.
As Design Manifest's client base expanded beyond its roots in the Main Line into Center City and as far as the Jersey shore, Naomi was inspired to relocate and reinvent the Design Manifest offices to reflect the evolving business.
Building Bok—a former school building in South Philadelphia that is now home to a thriving community of creative entrepreneurs- was the perfect spot. Naomi and her team renovated a classroom in the building complete with a fully functioning kitchen, living and dining areas.
The new studio is a home base for client meetings with a library of finishes and materials sure to inspire. It is a design lab to stage and test ideas, and an ever-evolving theory of beautiful living.
Megan loves celebrating the pleasures of home through thoughtful, inspired interior design. You will find her presiding over the materials libraries in the studio or flipping through fabric swatches in the Design Center, contemplating the ideal relation of stone to tile in your kitchen or bath or taking apart the internet to locate a perfect rug or piece of art for your living room.
Megan graduated from Drexel's Masters program in Fashion design before studying haute couture in Paris. She went on to intern at top fashion design houses in Europe and spent a decade travelling the world interpreting global fashion trends for Anthropologie and Free People.
In 2018 Megan stepped away from fashion to begin working alongside her sister, Naomi, at Design Manifest. Together, their visions for beautiful interiors and drive for impeccable execution make for great creative and professional chemistry.
Megan is excited to apply her fashion background and corporate experience to help shape the visual dynamics and strategic growth of Design Manifest. Above all, she is delighted to be creating spaces of enduring joy for Design Manifest's lovely clients.
