Designer Full Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team in the position of Designer & Project Manager. You will work closely with creative directors to create and execute designs. Experience in all aspects of residential project management from design development and construction plans to site visits, sourcing, specification of custom furnishings is required. Ability to problem-solve and manage many details of multiple projects in different phases essential. Proficiency in interior architecture and all aspects of construction process is a must.

Research and development of all components of projects including pricing, installation and scheduling
Specify and obtain quotes for custom cabinetry/millwork, upholstery, window treatments, furnishings, trade services
Produce interior architectural construction documents, draft floor plans and elevations, including cabinetry listings and tile layouts.
Source furnishings and architectural finishes & materials
Build client-facing proposals for materials fixtures and furnishings using IVY software
Attend design meetings, conduct site visits and interact with client, vendors and all trades people.
Support creative director in an extremely busy and fast paced high end residential design firm.
Create presentation boards and additional supporting design documentation
Create 3-D renderings for client presentations
Maintain and keeps current, organized records for all design projects
What we expect from qualified candidates:
Ability to work on location at our South Philadelphia studio
Min. 2 years experience in junior design role at a full-service residential design or architecture firm
-Fluency in Photoshop and MS Office suite
-Experience with AutoCAD both in 2D and 3D- we use Chief Architect and candidates will need to become proficient in that software.
-Knowledge of manufacturers and sources for residential applications
-Polished personal demeanor
-Excellent communication both written and verbal
-Professional, punctual and reliable
