Project Coordinator Full Job Description

We are seeking a project coordinator to manage purchasing and logistics for o ur small boutique interior design firm. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail oriented and a self-motivated problem solver. This person would be responsible for providing administrative support to our team through all phases of our design and construction projects and ensuring all of the pieces are in the right place, at the right time. Candidate should be comfortable working in excel and multiple software platforms.

This is a great role for someone who loves keeping track of a lot of details, is diligent about following up, and enjoys working hard behind the scenes to organize every part that goes into a beautiful room. This is a full-time position.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Create Product Proposals.

  • Obtain product quotes.

  • Purchasing: Order and Track all products

  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory system to accept and organize all incoming furniture and deliveries.

  • Logistics: Manage communication and coordination of receiving warehouse. Coordinate all returns. Handle damage claims. Solve problems.

  • Manage material samples for company library and client projects

  • Receive incoming packages and inspect all product delivered to our studio

  • Perform errands in support of business & project operations

What we expect from qualified candidates:

  • Ability to work on location at our South Philadelphia studio

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time

  • A minimum of four years work experience and 1 year experience in administration and purchasing

  • A vehicle

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage good relationships with our vendors

  • Be proficient in MS Office & equivalent Google suite; comfortable in navigating many software programs (we use Asana, Ivy and Dropbox)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year based on experience
