Moroccan Curves in the bathroom

One of my favorite elements in the bathroom design I featured last week is the curvy shower valance we plan to hang over the tub.  The curves remind me of a Moroccan archway and they feel like the perfect eclectic surprise in an otherwise classic room.  With all of the tile and hard fixtures, bathrooms are just begging for a little warmth and softness.  Whether it’s a fabric valance, a built-in or even a mirror, these curves are my new favorite accessory for the bath.

  1. I love this shape. The shower curtain is stunning and so much more elegant than what we are accustomed to seeing the bathroom.

I’m totally doing this is our hall bath remodel. Husband requested something that would seam in steam so he can have a nice hot shoer so this is just the thing!

  5. I’m completely lusting over these bathrooms! Ahhhh…. I love our loft, but the bathroom is so so tiny, I’m saving this as inspiration for our next apt. :)

  6. Mimi

Beautiful , I especially like the first bathroom, love the blue. Mimi xx

  7. makes total sense…the curves adding more softness, I love the idea, my shower sucks.

  8. I’ve been scouring Craigslist and flea markets for cheap versions of the above curvy mirrors. That’s all I want in this world. Curvy mirrors. Preferably in brass.

  9. Oh how fun!! I have completely neglected all bathrooms in my house. If only I can finish the other rooms first…which seems like never at this point.

I’m crazy about that sessy, curvy shower valance…
