Gladwyne Master Bath Project: Before & After

Today I’m sharing a really fun project reveal. You may have seen peeks of this master bath here and there on our Instagram account, but I want to give you the full Before & After treatment. It’s always so much more gratifying to see the entire project in one place, start to finish!

BEFORE

AFTER

As you can see from the befores, this master bath wasn’t terrible. The space was working for our client, more or less.  But it was dated and they wanted something fantastic. I’m all for fantastic.

So with goal #1 established: create a showstopper, we delved next into functional improvements. The clients wanted better storage, more drawers, and a bathtub that wasn’t a swimming pool.

BEFORE

AFTER

We worked hard to create a space that feels special and custom, while still classic.  I took a step out there with the design and chose elements that are unique, but it doesn’t feel over the top.

AFTER

One of the things I most enjoyed about this project was the degree to which these clients are detail oriented. It was really fun to collaborate with them on color and cabinetry design.

AFTER

We spent a lot of time working out the arch over the vanity, which was a really great opportunity to add architecture to a previously boxy room.

AFTER

And then of course there’s this tub moment.  I admit to daydreams of taking a good long soak beneath this floating bubble chandelier.

AFTER

It’s always such a treat to undertake a project with a client who is seeking beauty for beauty’s sake, and who is willing to take a departure from the expected.

Hope you enjoyed touring this Before & After.  For more of this master bath and other Design Manifest projects, check out the Portfolio page on our website.

This is SO gorgeous – love that the tub is a focal piece but also takes up so much less room so it looks more airy. Great work as always!

      Thanks so much, Jackie!

  5. June Pope

Love It! Let me count the ways…
    1. Shelves in the shower
    2. Bench in the shower isn’t a solid box and you can see the pretty tile beneath it
    3. The tub and its chandelier
    4. I think the arch is my favorite thing
    5. It’s peaceful and serene
    Great job!

  6. Lauren

Gorgeous, Naomi!! Love everything you’ve done here. I’m solidly in the ‘curtains in the bathroom’ camp.
