end tables with a little ooomph

I like to mix in interesting end tables to spice up a traditional interior.  If your coffee table is boxy, why not balance things out with a sculptural end table?  Or if if one is wood, why not do the other in metal?  Since end tables are smaller, and not set at center stage, its easier to take risks and mix in furniture with a little extra flair.

There are so many tables with interesting shapes, textures, colors and personality.  Why not think outside the box and add a little depth to your space?  Here are a few of my favorites…

1. Keyhole Bone side table, Clayton Gray Home, $975
2. Open ended white lacquer/mirrored table, Worlds Away, to the trade

3. Nantucket Driftwood end table, Arteriors Home, to the trade, also check out Crate & Barrel’s option

4.  Rocker Boca X Base, Room Service LA, $695

5. Upholstered Nailhead End Table, Vanguard, to the trade

6. Bond end table, Jonathan Adler, $1,250
7. Forest Park silver iron table, Arteriors Home, to the trade
8. Lucky Lacquer table, Serena and Lily, $325
9.  Hourglass table, Nate Berkus/HSN, $150
10.  Cast Iron Base tray table, West Elm, $129
11. London vintage steamer trunk, Four Hands,  to the trade
12.  Ebony Finish tray table, Overstock, $134
13.  Amil side table, Made Goods, to the trade
Happy shopping, friends!!
and PS…
just because something is “to the trade,”
doesn’t mean it’s necessarily Jonathan Adler expensive
you can always check with me if you are interested in a piece….

I love your end table collection. I’ve been on my own obsessive search. I have that Berkus HSN table, but with the black stone top. It’s even nicer in person and looks great mixin it up in my living room.

Oy. I’d have to come up with at least $2,600 bucks to buy all that my little heart desires and that’s not even taking into account the to the trade nonsense. This is a superior round-up.

  3. I have a thing for side tables.

    It’s a dirtylittleshame.

Thanks for feeding my desires. 😉

Oooh, they are all so chic. #5, 6, 7, and 12 are my faves–great options!

  7. What fun end tables! I love the Upholstered Nailhead End Table… “to the trade” does automatically make me go “too expensive for me” but glad to know we can always check with you.. thanks!!

  8. That steamer trunk would do awesome double duty as a toy box… hmmmm. AND we have a four hands store in Austin… hmmmm.
