Design In our first design meeting we conduct an in-depth interview. We identify your goals and dreams for the space. We discuss your tastes, daily habits, entertaining style and special needs. We also educate you on various products and construction methods to help you better understand the renovation process. We aim to design a custom space that will work best for you and your lifestyle. It is important to find potential problems in the design phase. We always measure the space ourselves, photograph and do a thorough inspection of the site. This allows us to create a detailed and accurate plan of the room. Prior to design we also investigate any zoning and/or structural issues that will need to be addressed. Next we develop several schematic designs. A detailed plan will be drawn on the computer. We utilizes a state-of-the-art computerized drafting system. Plans include floorplans, elevations, cabinetry schedules, electrical plans and job instructions-describing the proper work methods and products to be used in the plan. The end result is a construction document that clearly specifies the work to be done. It ensures that if you decide to get bids from other contractors that they are bidding on an "apples to apples" basis. Three-dimensional color drawings are provided to help clients visualize the space. We are able to imitate actual cabinet styles, appliances, fixtures, tile and granites to create life-like drawings. The material selection process can be daunting; we are there through every step to help purchase quality products that coordinate together beautifully. We are available for shopping trips, color consultations, tile design, window treatments, and much more! We are active members of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and our staff includes a certified kitchen and bathroom designer. We are well informed of the products, trends and methods of the industry, as well as styles and construction concerns specific to the Philadelphia region. We believe that form follows function, therefore we strive for practical designs that will enhance our clients lives. We are well known for our custom kitchens and bathrooms, but don't forget we design built-ins, additions, garage conversions, family rooms. master suites, finished basements and much more! |

More than just cabinetry.... APPLIANCES AND FIXTURES: We work with our clients to educate them and help them to select the best items for their needs. It is important to select the proper appliances and fixtures, as they drive the designs of the room. Some items are simply too grand in scale and may not be appropriate for a room- for instance a 48" professional range may not fit into a small kitchen. However, it our job to provide solutions to our clients and help them to create a balanced and functional space. We work with reliable vendors who give us excellent pricing. We take responsibility for ordering all materials and receiving materials so that you do not need to worry about it. GRANITE/MARBLE/TILE/HARDWOOD: Designer, Naomi Stein, assists clients in selecting these materials. Our goal is to provide durable materials that will look great and coordinate together in the room. We also provide our clients with tile patterns to create points of interest in the space. Small details can go a long way- taking a kitchen or bath from a standard design to exceptional. We work with great vendors who have vast selections and competitive prices. We will calculate all quantities and order materials. It is also important to time this all out properly, so that we receive delivery in a timely manner and keep your job running smoothly. FINISHING DETAILS: Depending on your level of need, we can help you with finishing touches to your room. Naomi assists clients in paint consultations, window treatments, decorative lighting, fabric selections and decorative hardware. While some companies view these as afterthoughts, Naomi feels they are the “jewelry” of the room- giving it a distinct personality and adding warmth and ambiance. |
